  1. Begin each morning with gratitude. Write down or say out loud 3 things you’re thankful for. This single habit has been shown to lower stress hormones and shift your nervous system into healing mode in under 60 seconds.

  2. Celebrate progress, not perfection. Focus on how far you’ve come instead of how far you have to go. Your brain and body respond dramatically better to forward momentum than to self-criticism.
